GMA and Kyles Athletic face off in the Glasgow Celtic Society Cup Final this Saturday at Peterson Park, Glasgow.

Read the below stats to get you warmed up for the big fixture!

Kyles are scoring an average of 2.33 goals per game and conceding an average of 1.87 goals per game, both of their biggest results came on the road as they put 6 past Oban Camanachd and Cruachanside.

GMA are scoring an average of 1.92 goals per game and conceding an average of 1.84 goals per game. While GMA are the only team in the MOWI Premiership without a win, they are only narrowly losing matches – losing by one goal on 4 occasions. Their biggets win came in a 10-0 defeat of Oban Celtic.

Right to the end

The stats show that Kyles are extremely dangerous in the final 30 minutes of games with 57.1% of their goals coming in the final third.

Slow to get going?

Kyles concede 61% of their goals in the first half. Combined with their scoring stats it would suggest that if you want to beat the Tighnabruaich outfit - you had better be leading at half-time.

Growing into the game

The stats show that GMA are strongest as the first-half comes to a close and for the opening 30 minutes of the second half suggesting that they improve as they figure out the team they're up against.

Fitness issue?

GMA have a relatively strong backline given their position in the league, something we saw them capitalise on in 2019 where they finished 2nd in the MOWI National. However, this season they have conceded 46% of their goals in the final 30 minutes of the game - combined with Kyles attacking prowess in this period, it could spell danger for the Glasgow side.

Hot Rod

Long term Kyles servant and Scotland International Roddy MacDonald leads the charts for Kyles with impressive Full-Centre Ross MacRae and Scott MacDonald following on 6 a piece.

Dr Fraser provides cure

Dr Ewen Fraser, 2019 Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Winner with Newtonmore, leads the way for GMA in the scoring charts with 8, followed by Calum McLay and Ally MacKerracher.
