Terms and Conditions of Camanachd Association Forum

ThThe Camanachd Association forum is a place for you to engage in positive conversations and discussions with regard to all aspects of shinty.

We moderate the forum on a common sense basis and would ask that each of our visitors obey simple good manners and common sense when posting on the forum.

The Camanachd Association has set these rules so that everyone can get the most out of the shinty forum.

Rules

  • All contributions must be civil and tasteful.
  • All contributions must be constructive and polite, not mean-spirited or contributed with the intention of causing trouble.
  • Unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable.
  • No spamming or off-topic material.
  • No advertising.
  • No inappropriate (e.g. vulgar, offensive etc) usernames or usernames which are an attempt to impersonate another individual.
  • No posts which describe or encourage activities which could endanger the safety or well-being of others.
  • You may only make written contributions that are your own work or to which you have the copyright or other permission to distribute electronically. You may not violate, plagiarise, or infringe on the rights of third parties including copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, personal, publicity or proprietary rights. If attributed and in context, using a couple of short paragraphs of text from another source may be OK.

We reserve the right to issue warnings and/or temporarily/permanently suspend access to all or part of the site if any of the above conditions are infringed. Anyone who seriously or repeatedly breaks the rules may be banned from the shinty forum.

The Camanachd Association reserves the right to edit, move or delete any contribution or thread, at any time, for any reason.
