BFBS to broadcast Marine Harvest Shinty/Hurling

The Marine Harvest Shinty/Hurling International will be broadcast live on the British Forces Broadcasting Service (BFBS) on Saturday 20 October .
The match will be beamed into every British Armed Forces camp overseas. Armed Forces shinty fans must check there local listings for broadcast timings. In Afghanistan the broadcast starts at 1630hrs.
Captain Robert Stoddart, SCOTS Camanachd club secretary said, “I am delighted that BFBS are continuing their support of shinty. Whilst BFBS normally broadcast the Scottish Hydro Camanachd Cup Final this is the first time that they have broadcast a shinty/hurling international match. There are a number of SCOTS Camanachd players currently serving in Afghanistan so this will be a great morale boost for them.”
