Glenurquhart lift the 2010 Strathdearn Cup

Glenurquhart Shinty Club defeated Lovat by two goals to one in the final of the Strathdearn Cup and in doing so, extracted revenge on their local rivals, after having lost the Aberdein Considine Cup Final to them back in July.
A good crowd attended the final at Braeview Park, Beauly on Satuday (11th September) and they were treated to an intense and exciting match.
It was Glenurquhart’s Kelvin Mackenzie who broke the deadlock in the 35th minute and he bagged a second in the 60th minute.
