Hector MacRae, Fort William

The funeral of Hector MacRae will take place at Duncansburgh MacIntosh Parish Church on Thursday 20th September at 12.00 noon, thereafter to Kilmallie Cemetery. Hector passed away on Saturday 15th September after a long illness.
Heckie was a former Fort William player as well as past President of the club. For many years he coached Inverlochy Primary School with over half the Fort William team which won the Camanachd Cup in Glasgow in 1992 having been introduced to shinty by Heckie and Bruce Tulloch at Inverlochy Primary School
