The Scottish Hydro Youth Development Fund represents a partnership between The Camanachd Association and Scottish Hydro.
The Youth Development Fund aims to support member Clubs who wish to increase youth participation by providing a maximum grant award of £500 in support of new or enhanced Club initiatives that will deliver sustainable growth in the number of young people playing shinty.
It is a competitive application process with a total annual awards budget of £5000. All applications will be considered by the Review Group and funding awards will be prioritised in support of those proposals that best meet the stated aims and criteria of the scheme.
There may be more than one funding round each year, dependent upon the level of funding allocated at the first round of the year.
