Beauly Shinty Club have today, Monday 22nd April, accepted the resignation of club 1st team manager Alan Macrae.
Alan leaves the post after 2 seasons in the role. The senior side have had a disappointing start to the 2019 season in which the team have failed to win any of their fixtures culminating with the weekend defeat to Strathglass in the MacTavish Cup. This latest set back has led to Alan considering his position and announcing his departure from Beauly.
The club would like to put on record their grateful thanks to Alan for his tenure at the club with his dedication in traveling from his home in Helmsdale and wish him all the best for the future endeavours in the game.
The club committee met tonight and interim arrangements have been put in place to carry out the role prior to a permanent replacement to Alan being found.
