The 2018 Dublin Diaries – Part 11

The final preparations have been made and it’s a focused Scotland U17 squad that makes the short trip to Parnell Park to face Dublin U17 in the final match of the 2019 Sitekit tour of Ireland.

The pitch is in great condition but there is some heavy rain ahead of the 7.17pm throw-in.

Dublin have named a large squad and there is a good turnout in the main stand for the game, including a good Scottish support.

Kieran MacPherson is given the honour of captaining the side whilst Scotland Head Coach Ronald Ross makes two changes from the previous evening’s starting line-up with Conor Kennedy and Cam Clark given starts.

Scotland U17 from: Calum Grover (Newtonmore); Jamie Gillies (Skye Camanachd), Daniel Sloss (Oban Camanachd); Cameron MacIntosh (Glenurquhart), Ryan Boyle (Fort William), Ryan Craig (Bute); William MacKinnon (Skye Camanachd), Kieran MacPherson (Kingussie) (captain), Cam Clark (Kilmallie); Lachie Shaw (Fort William), Conor Kennedy (Kyles Athletic); Duncan Matheson (Kinlochshiel), Liam Borthwick (Kingussie); Ross Gordon (Skye Camanachd); subs Martin Pringle (Skye Camanachd), Alistair MacRae (Fort William), Lewis Clark (Fort William)

It’s game on!
