The 2020 Scotland international squad kit was, on 31st January, unveiled in Inverness at the Culloden Battlefield, by 2019 Scotland captain and Goalkeeper of the Decade, Stuart MacDonald (Lovat), Scotland & Lovat Ladies star Laura Gallacher and former Scotland captain Finlay MacRae (Kinlochshiel).
The Camanachd Association announced the exciting new partnership with renowned kit manufacturers Macron Technical Sportswear The local Macronstore Highlands will be supplying the new international kit for the next 2 years. Long standing partners Mowi continue as the title sponsor for the Shinty/ Hurling International ahead of the 2020 season.
The partnership with Macronstore Highland secures a 5-figure sponsorship for the, Camanachd Association over the next 2 years and will play a significant role in providing a high-quality kit for our players representing Shinty at the highest level.
All Scotland squads (Senior Men, under 21, under 17 and Senior Women) will once again be taking on their Irish Hurling and Camogie counterparts this year, with the ties likely to take place toward the end of the league campaign in Scotland.
In signing this partnership with The Camanachd Association, Macronstore Highlands have ensured that shinty is able to look forward to 2020 and beyond with support from an organisation that is passionate about the development of sport throughout the world. The Camanachd Association will join the list of sporting giants like S.S. Lazio and UEFA, as well as local clubs such as Ross County to be sponsored by Macron.
