In speaking of the event, Regional Development Manager, Ronald Ross, said, “The National First Shinty Festivals are an important event for the young players as it brings together teams from all over the country which is why we are so grateful of the support offered by Travis Perkins.  Year after year we see the best young talent that the sport has to offer and I am in no doubt that this year will provide more of the same.”

The Primary 7 & Under National First Shinty Festival is taking place at the Nevis Centre, Fort William while the Primary 5 & Under National First Shinty Festival will take place at Lochaber High School.  The action gets underway at 12noon on Saturday 3rd March  and everyone is welcome to attend.
