This weekend Oban Camanchd take on Newtonmore at An Aird in the grandaddy of 'em all - the Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup Final.

Rain got the better of the match last weekend, but the forecast is looking good ahead of shinty's showpiece event in 2 days time!

In preparation for the final we are going to look back at how Newtonmore and Oban Camanachd made it past tough semi-final opponents in Caberfeidh and Kyles Athletic respectively.

Let's kick things off with Newtonmore who negotiated a tough tie against Caberfeidh.

Newtonmore went 2 up and neutrals began to fear a rout.

Before a quickfire double brought Cabers level.

The two exchanged goals and Cabers made it level with 10 minutes to go.

It seemed as though Newtonmore had stolen the game with 5 minutes left on the clock.

But, Caberfeidh just wouldn't stay down.

A couple of goals in the first half of extra time meant that the teams were level with 15 to play.

Newtonmore's big game experience prevailed in the end as they ran out 7-5 winners.
